Artist's Comments

I went to Arlington Cemetery on the trip to DC. Never seen so many graves in my life. It's hard to register that there's a person--a dead person--for every one of those headstones, not even well after the trip.

Still, for all those fallen life springs and blossoms.

Really pretty photos, and I feel sorry for people that their loves ones died.

Life is like Yin and Yang. You are one of them, but you have the opposite in your life. If you are dark, you'll have a little lightness in your life. If you are light, you'll have a little darkness in your life.

Thanks for the comment and the fav. It's hard to realize the number of deaths sprung from war until you walk across those grounds. They've got funerals on a massive wait list and I think they said they have them every half hour.

Thanks! I thought so too. I think for any death (of a person, a pet, an intangible thing) life springs anew, and these gardens rolled with green grasses and trees. Maybe life can blossom for all those the fallen protected.

Many people die, huh? It's sad, nobody should go threw that. Maybe if there was peace then people wouldn't die that quickly, huh? Also your welcome.

Really beautiful job with this one, miss. =]

It's really scary to even think about all those people dead. I couldn't imagine being one of the family members. Not to mention the markers that have no names. Depressing.

Wonderful work as always, though, my friend. ^^

...y hello thar.
:iconzavi:
Thank you. It didn't really hit me until the middle of the gardens that all these graves represented someone--a dead someone--and even now it's hard to grasp.

Indeed. All that loss...

I hope you're doing well with your photography. Miss seeing you. Europe was a blast.
